My name is AnuPriya Das and I am 14 years old. My passion lies in trading stocks, something many my age may not even be aware of. Others see numbers and lose interest but all I have is fascination towards how companies flourish and function. My pathway to stocks started many years ago, watching my dad intently studying glowing green and red charts on a screen. With my dad as my primary teacher and mentor, I placed my first trade in 2023 on Robinhood.

Over the last three years, the market has taught me what no person could teach another- how to persevere through ups and downs, patience needed to find good stocks, and resilience. The very first stock I ever bought was Uber and it stayed in my portfolio for quite a long run. My primary style of trading is position trading but I don’t trade to make money, I trade to gain experience. Experience with the stock market and trading is invaluable especially in this modern day and age. The end goal I have in mind is a career in finance and leveraging my extensive experience with stocks. As I progress through high school I intend to expand my financial knowledge and use it as an upper hand.
